Friends ditched us but we'll try to survive...🇲🇽😬

Hola amigos, we bolted out on a last minute holiday to Mexico where we spent the first three days with Pat, Shannon and Jesse in Playa del Carmen before they ended their Yucatán/Havana tour. We're now in Tulum relaxing and recovering from the previous three days of fun.

Sunday marked 10 years to the day where we met our pals Jesse and Shannon in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. It's been a great 10 years of traveling and days in Vancouver with these two.

We decided to stay right in town where we have easy access to bars and restaurants otherwise you have to taxi in every night while staying at one of the beach resorts. Our boutique hotel included free beach cruiser bikes which we've taken full advantage of by riding to and from the beach everyday. Good way to burn off some of the cervezas.

Great wall art everywhere on the side streets, just about as much as the hipsters with their tattoos and yoga mats.

It's a 5km bike ride to the beach on the perfect bike path. The path has restaurants and pop up bars for breaky/lunch and cervezas.
